Unlike the Old West shootout in this historic town, this time the scattergun shooting was all in fun when the Tombstone Ghost Riders held   the first-ever CMSA-sanctioned Shotgun WPQ.

What better place to make history than at the former home of Wyatt Earp and the site of the famed October 26, 1881 “Gunfight at the OK  Corral.” The Tombstone Ghost Riders, a longtime CMSA-Affiliated club recently hosted the first-ever CMSA sanctioned Shotgun  World Point Qualifying event at their recent club match. The weather was a bit chilly, but the competition was hot. Snowbirds and local  members accounted for over 80 contestants in the main event. As a newly added event to the CMSA the Shotgun Class brought new  interest and excitement for riders from Arizona, Texas, New Mexico, Idaho, Missouri, Tennessee and many other states.
